Gareth Devaney

Gareth Devaney is an experienced professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as a Senior Operational Security Analyst at NFU Mutual since June 2016 and managing Cyber Security Guardian Ltd, a company focused on network security, since November 2013. With a background that includes over 14 years of experience in various roles, Gareth previously worked as a Contractor at Computer Network Defence Ltd, a Lead Analyst for the SMIP Project at Telefónica, and a Lead SOC Analyst at DXC Technology. Prior to these positions, Gareth served in the Royal Air Force from 2002 to 2013, holding multiple roles that emphasized the security and integrity of cyber systems. Educational qualifications include numerous certifications from the SANS Institute, and degrees in Engineering and Electronics from Royal Air Force Cosford and Hopwood Hall Rochdale.
