Simon Tate has a extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Simon began their career in 1987 at Commercial Union, where they specialized in Property/Business Interruption covers. Simon then moved on to General Accident (Bonus), where they held various roles including Account Executive, Account Controller, and Skills Development Coordinator. In 2000, they joined Charrington (Syndicate 962), where they set up and managed underwriting offices and developed business for the company. In 2007, they joined Catlin as a Development Underwriter, responsible for setting up and managing scheme business. Simon then worked at UK General as the Technical Director, overseeing underwriting, products, claims, and supply chain areas. Currently, they are the Head of Underwriting Performance, Operations, and Governance at NFU Mutual, where they previously held roles as Regional Technical Underwriting Manager and UW Operations and Programmes Manager. Throughout their career, Simon has demonstrated a strong track record of success in revenue growth and risk reduction.
