Davis Doherty

Davis Doherty is an experienced legal professional serving as General Counsel at NFX since May 2021 and as a Charter Member of TechGC since June 2021. Prior to these roles, Davis worked as a Senior Associate in the Technology Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from November 2012 to May 2021, where responsibilities included advising startups on corporate matters, constructing complex Excel models for financing deals, and redesigning internal processes to enhance attorney efficiency. Davis has also held various positions in law firms and educational institutions, including roles as a Summer Associate at Orrick and Quinn Emanuel, an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University, and a teaching assistant at the University of Washington and the University of Rochester. Academic qualifications include a JD from Harvard Law School, a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Washington, and a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Rochester.
