Dieter De Paepe

Dieter De Paepe has had a varied career since 2008. Dieter began as a Student Counselor for MultiStudentMatching, followed by a role as a Student Tutor as a Freelance worker. In 2008, they took on a role as a Web Application Developer for Nibble. In 2010, Dieter was a Knowledge Engineer for AKTOR Knowledge Technology, a Thomson Reuters Corp. company, and a Consultant for Talent Planet. From 2011 to 2015, Dieter worked at Comsof as a Software Architect and Development Engineer. Dieter was responsible for planning and implementing the technical advances for the FiberPlanIT software, as well as designing fiber networks for international customers. Since 2015, Dieter has worked at UGent as a Researcher in the Semantic Web Group of IDLab and the Machine-Learning Focussed Predict Group of IDLab. Currently, Dieter is a Software Engineer at NGDATA.

Dieter De Paepe began their education in 1999 at Emma\u00fcsinstituut. Dieter then attended Ghent University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor degree in Informatics. From 2008 to 2010, they completed a Master degree in Civil Engineer in Computer Science at Ghent University. Currently, Dieter is in the process of obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Ghent University, which is expected to be completed in 2021.
