David Moellenbeck

David Moellenbeck is a Project Engineer at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since August 2020, with prior experience as a Student Assistant at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology where support was provided for a Masters Level course in Theoretical Soil Mechanics. David's background includes a Geotechnical Engineering internship at NGI, where contributions were made to offshore ground investigation reports, and experience at BC Hydro, focusing on the Site C Hydropower Project. Additional roles include engineering internships at Devon Energy and Rescan Environmental Services Ltd, where project assistance was provided in drilling design and environmental monitoring, respectively. David holds a Master of Civil Engineering in Geotechnics and Geohazards from NTNU and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
