Dylan Mikesell

Dylan Mikesell is an accomplished geophysicist with extensive experience in both academia and research. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist and Senior Researcher at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since August 2021, Dylan previously held positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Boise State University from July 2015 to August 2021. Prior to that, Dylan was an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from June 2013 to May 2015 and a Postdoc at Université de Nice from January 2012 to May 2013. Dylan's early career included a role as a Geophysical Engineer/Intern at Olson Engineering from 2004 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Boise State University (2007-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines (2002-2006).
