Dyre Dammann is the Head of Remote Sensing and Geophysics at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, a position they have held since 2022. Previously, Dyre was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Chalmers University of Technology from 2017 to 2019, and held roles as a Senior Engineer at StormGeo in 2019-2020, and as a Research Professional and Research Assistant at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 2012 to 2017. Dyre earned a PhD in Geophysics and Remote Sensing from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the same institution and the Universitetet i Oslo.
