Trevor King

Trevor King is an experienced geoscientist currently serving as Lead Principal Geoscientist at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since 2021. Previously, Trevor held various senior roles at ExxonMobil, including Senior Geoscientist for XTO Unconventionals, and provided geoscience advisory in Norway's exploration and production sectors. Trevor also contributed as a Senior Geoscience Advisor at Vår Energi and managed significant teams during assignments in Africa and South America. Trevor's earlier experience includes leadership roles in exploration and projects across multiple regions, as well as a solid academic background with a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Leeds and a B.Sc. in Geology & Geophysics from Durham University. Additionally, Trevor attended the London Business School for further education in business.
