Tony Bates

Tony Bates has a distinguished career in leadership roles across various prominent technology companies. Currently serving as Chairman and CEO of Genesys since May 2019, Bates has held significant positions such as Board Member at VMware and eBay from 2016 to 2023 and 2015 to 2022, respectively. Their experience includes serving as CEO of Skype for a brief period in 2011 and as Executive Vice President at Microsoft from 2011 to 2014. Bates was also the President of GoPro from 2014 to 2016 and the CEO of Social Capital LP from 2017 to 2018.
