Brian Compton

Brian Compton is an experienced sports journalist with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Managing Editor at NHL.com since September 2007, Compton has previously held the role of Deputy Managing Editor at the same organization. Prior to joining NHL.com, Compton worked as a Beat Reporter and Sports Copy Editor for The Trentonian from April 2002 to April 2007, and as a Sports Editor for The Southampton Press from May 2001 to March 2002. Compton started as a Sports Reporter/Clerk for the New York Post from May 1999 to April 2001. Compton holds a degree in Communications with a focus on Journalism from King's College, earned between 1995 and 1999.
