Jack Gerien

Jack Gerien is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Senior Director of IT at the National Hockey League since January 2006. Prior roles include Director of Applications Development at MSC Industrial Supply (1997-2005), Supervisor of Systems Analysis at Linotype-Hell (1991-1997), and Senior Systems Analyst at Hell Graphic Systems (1984-1991). Gerien began their career as a Systems Analyst at Doubleday Inc. (1979-1984) and contributed to the New York Mets’ system analysis from July 1981 to June 1983, where Gerien designed and implemented one of the first Automated Ticket Office systems in Major League Baseball. Earlier experience includes serving as Computer Operations Coordinator at Home Savings Bank of Upstate NY (1976-1979), overseeing day-to-day operations for the bank's eight branches. Gerien holds a BBA in Accounting from Siena College and an MS in Accounting and Information Systems from the University at Albany.
