Kevin Baumer is an experienced professional in social content and programming within the sports industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Social Content & Programming at the National Hockey League (NHL) since October 2017. Prior to this role, Kevin held various positions at the NHL, including Director and Senior Manager of Social Content & Community Management. Kevin’s previous experience includes working at Whistle Sports as a Senior Producer and Creative Producer, as well as roles at Blue Seat Blogs and The NOC TV. Kevin began the career as a writer for HockeyProspect.com and also served in social media and editorial roles at genConnect and Blueshirt Bulletin. Kevin’s educational background includes a degree in Magazine Journalism and US History from Syracuse University, paired with high school education from New Providence High School.
