Michael Gold is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in sports law, currently serving as the Executive Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs at the National Hockey League (NHL), a position held since October 2005. Gold has progressed through various senior legal roles within the NHL, including Executive Vice President & Deputy General Counsel and Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel. Prior to rejoining the NHL in 2001, Gold worked as Legal Counsel at Major League Soccer and gained early experience as a Legal Intern. Gold's legal expertise was further honed at White & Case in the IP Group.
