Rob Wooley

Vice President, Legislative Affairs & Executive Director, NHL Foundation

Rob Wooley currently serves as Vice President of Legislative Affairs and Executive Director of the NHL Foundation at the National Hockey League since November 2016, having previously held senior roles in legislative affairs, public policy, and partnership development. With extensive experience in community relations, Rob worked as Director of Community Relations and Detroit Lions Charities for the Detroit Lions from May 2012 to February 2016 and managed community relations for the NHL from August 2007 to May 2012. Earlier career highlights include serving as Smart Growth Policy Specialist at Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities and Manager of Public Policy at Power to Decide. Rob began a career in policy as Program Coordinator/Manager at The Brookings Institution and interned with the U.S. House of Representatives. Educational qualifications include a BS in Public Administration and Public Policy from Oakland University and a Master of Science in Public Policy Analysis from George Mason University.
