Leigh Ritchie currently serves as the Department Manager for the Department of Pathology at NHS Forth Valley, having previously held the position of Deputy Manager and histology technical and quality lead. With a background as a Biomedical Scientist at NHS Forth Valley from 2006 to 2019, Leigh was integral to the operations of the histology lab, ensuring quality management and departmental accreditation. Leigh gained an MSc in Biomedical Science from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002 after completing postgraduate training at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary from 1999 to 2000.
