Abha Gupta

Abha Gupta MBChB, FRCOphth, MAcadMEd has been a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital since June 2018, with over ten years of experience in the field. They completed their medical training at Manchester Medical School, where they also earned a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience. Abha has served in various capacities, including as a consultant at NHS Lothian and Stepping Hill Hospital, and holds roles as a senior examiner and national lead for the Duke Elder exam at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. In addition, they are an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have contributed significantly to medical education as a module lead and honorary clinical senior lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Manchester.
