Al Hudson

Al Hudson is a military veteran and retired fire officer with extensive experience in fire safety and emergency management. They served as a Clearance Diver in the Royal Navy from 1981 to 1989 and held various roles at GMFRS from 1992 to 2016, including Fire Officer and Training Instructor. Since 2018, Al has worked as a Fire Safety Consultant for the NHS. They have pursued numerous educational qualifications in fire safety, operational management, and engineering, and are currently studying at multiple institutions, including the University of Central Lancashire and S Robinson Fire Safety Consultancy Training. Al continues to strengthen their expertise as a Fellow of the Institute of Fire Engineers and a member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers.
