Ameeruddin Abro

Ameeruddin Abro has extensive experience in both civil engineering and educational leadership. From November 1989 to April 2001, Ameeruddin served as Assistant Executive Engineer at Karachi Port Trust, where responsibilities included estimating, designing, and supervising civil engineering projects at the seaport. Following this role, Ameeruddin worked as a Water Supply Engineer for the Japan International Cooperation Agency from May 2006 to December 2008, focusing on developing a master plan for the water supply and sewerage system in Karachi. Ameeruddin also held the position of Managing Director at Indus Publishers from May 2001 to April 2006, overseeing the editing and design of various offset printing publications. Currently, Ameeruddin is a Clinical Administrator at NHS and serves as President of Indus Education Foundation since January 2006, where efforts are directed towards organizing education for children in rural Sindh. Ameeruddin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology and a postgraduate diploma in Port and Coastal Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
