Amit Kotecha currently serves as the Medical Advisory Committee Orthopaedic representative at Spire Little Aston Hospital since February 2025. In addition, Kotecha holds the position of NJR West Midlands Regional Clinical Co-ordinator at the National Joint Registry since August 2024 and is the Arthroplasty and NJR lead at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust from the same date. Kotecha is also an Honorary Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Birmingham since January 2023 and has been a Consultant Hip and Knee Surgeon within the NHS since February 2018. Previously, Kotecha served as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Leicester from June 2018 to September 2022.
