Avinash Aswath is currently a Level 1 Badminton coach with Badminton England and training for Level 2 to support beginners in the sport. They are a Consultant at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, having completed advanced training including FRCA, DESA, and a PG Diploma in Perioperative Medicine. Avinash has been practicing as an Anaesthetist since 2009 and is a Senior Registrar (ST6) in Anaesthetics at Wessex deanery, following previous registrar training at institutions including Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital. Having trained in India and completed an MBBS, Avinash obtained their CCT in May 2022.
