Caroline Chapman

Caroline Chapman is the Programme Director for the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme at the NHS's Eastern Hub and serves as an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham. Previously, Chapman held the position of Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham from 2008 to 2015 and worked as a Lecturer from 2001 to 2008. They began their academic career as a Research Assistant at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in 1987 and later served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both the University of Southampton and the University of London. Chapman earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Immunology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, following a Master of Science (MSc) in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Southampton and a 2:1 degree in Zoology from the University of Bristol.
