Daniel Lo Russo has substantial experience in information governance within the NHS and related organizations. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Information Governance for Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System since February 2017, Daniel previously held the position of Head of Information Governance at Guildford & Waverley CCG from February 2014 to January 2020. Daniel's career also includes roles such as Interim Information Governance Manager at Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Company Records & Data Protection Lead at Metropolitan Housing Partnership, and Head of Information at SEEDA, where responsibilities encompassed compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, Data Protection Act, and oversight of projects and risk management. Daniel began a career in the public sector as a Grants Officer at the Big Lottery Fund from 2001 to 2006. Daniel holds a BSc in Psychology & Sociology (Joint Honours) from Teesside University.
