David Cumming

David Cumming is a spinal surgeon with 12 years of experience as a consultant, specializing in adult degenerative spinal conditions. They are the Immediate Past President of the British Association of Spine Surgeons and have been recently appointed as the National Clinical Director for Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery for NHS England. Currently, David practices as a spinal consultant at The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust and Cleveland Clinic London, while also contributing to the national Cauda Equina pathway. David earned an MBChB in Medicine from The University of Glasgow between 1994 and 1999.
