Dele Olajide

Consultant Psychiatrist

Dele Olajide is a consultant psychiatrist who has had a distinguished career in both public health and mental health policy. They served as a senior policy advisor for the UK Department of Health from 1993 to 1998 and later worked as a hon senior medical adviser to the Secretary of State for the UK Department of Transport between 2000 and 2008. Currently, Dele holds positions as a medical advisor for the Actors Benevolent Fund and chair of the Board of Trustees for The Advocacy Project, alongside their ongoing role as Trust Caldicott Guardian at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Dele is pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychopharmacology at the University of London and has also earned the FRCPsych from the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
