Dr Peter Dwyer

Dr. Peter Dwyer is a seasoned educator and researcher specializing in leadership and management within the NHS, where they currently hold the position of Learning & Development Lead for non-clinical apprenticeships. With extensive experience in higher education and various sectors across the UK and Southern Africa, Dr. Dwyer has held leadership roles at institutions such as the University of Warwick and Ruskin College. Their interdisciplinary approach is rooted in anthropology and the political economy of development, complemented by a history of public speaking and engagement in civil society forums. Additionally, Dr. Dwyer serves on the editorial board of the Review of African Political Economy and has co-written significant research on social movements in post-apartheid South Africa.
