Gillian Wright

Gillian Wright is an experienced advanced nurse practitioner with a robust career in the NHS spanning several years. Currently serving at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since June 2020, Gillian has held similar roles within the NHS since June 2017 and at CMFT from September 2015 to June 2017. Prior to these positions, Gillian worked at Tameside Acute Foundation Trust from June 1996 to September 2015 in various capacities, including trainee advanced nurse practitioner, unit manager of outpatients, and business manager for medicine. Initial nursing experience includes serving as a theatre sister from June 1994 to June 1996, specializing in scrub roles across numerous surgical disciplines. Educational credentials include an MSc in Advanced Practice from The University of Salford, a Bachelor of Science from The University of Manchester, and a Registered General Nurse diploma from Nottingham School of Nursing, supplemented by non-medical prescribing training at The University of Salford.
