Ian Cherry is an ICAEW Forensic Accountant and expert witness with extensive experience in the NHS, not for profit, and education sectors. They served as the Independent Review Panel Chair for Continuing Healthcare Costs at NHS England from 2014 to 2017 and have held roles as a Lay Member for Finance and Audit and Audit Chair at Greater Preston Clinical Commissioning Group from 2017 to 2023. In addition, Ian has been the Chair of the ICAEW Council and has held various positions within the organization since 1997. Currently, they are the Chief Executive of both A.I. Cherry Chartered Accountants and Cherry Forensics, continuing their commitment to forensic accounting and advisory services. Ian earned a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the City of London School of Business Studies between 1974 and 1978.
