Mark Broadbent

Mark Broadbent is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive expertise in Hand, Wrist, and Upper Limb Surgery, currently practicing at multiple hospitals including Inverclyde Royal Hospital and Ross Hall Hospital. In addition to clinical practice at NHS since October 2009, Mark has taken on leadership roles as Managing Director of Resolve Medicolegal Limited since 2012, which connects solicitors with Trauma and Orthopaedic experts in Scotland, and as Director of both ConsentWise and Think Medicolegal Limited since 2020 and 2016 respectively, the latter of which facilitates medical report provision without fees across the UK. Mark also contributed as a Governor at The Expert Witness Institute from June 2020 to November 2023. Educational credentials include an MB ChB in Medicine from The University of Edinburgh, completed in 1998, and earlier education at Hutchesons' Grammar School.
