Matt Humphries is currently the Head of Research at the National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, at St James's University Hospital. They previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, where they investigated genetic differences in breast cancer. Matt also held roles at Queen's University Belfast as the Scientific Lead for Tissue Hybridization and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on digital pathology and immune-oncology biomarkers.
