Matthew Ward

Matthew Ward is a Consultant Paramedic in Pre-hospital Care and an Advanced Practitioner in Emergency Care. With a decade of experience at West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust, they served as a Consultant Paramedic and Head of Clinical Practice. Currently, they are a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Practice at Keele University and hold the position of Director at The British Association for Immediate Care. Additionally, Matthew works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with the NHS. They earned a Master of Science in Advanced Critical Care from the University of Warwick and a PG Certificate in Independent Prescribing from the University of the West of England.
