Michael Appleton

Michael Appleton is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a DBT therapist and group therapist with the NHS since September 2013, focusing on PTSD, emotional-relational disturbance, attachment trauma, and transdiagnostic treatment. In addition, Michael has been a CBT therapist and psychotherapist at CNWL NHS since November 2017, also working as a trauma therapist. Prior to this, Michael was a sessional and group therapist at Mind from January 2011 to September 2013. Michael's background includes a decade-long career as a documentary producer from January 1996 to January 2008, with notable projects such as "Facing The Enemy" for BBC and "Desert Generals" for the History Channel. Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Queen's University Belfast.
