Mostafa Helmy

Mostafa Helmy is a National Population Health Fellow and Orthogeriatric Specialty Registrar at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, fostering innovation in the NHS and enhancing clinical pathways since July 2013. Notable contributions include leading a large-scale post-operative anaemia project and achieving a 50% reduction in length of stay for joint replacement patients. As a GP Registrar Trainee with the NHS since August 2022, Mostafa also serves as the Director of Digital Strategy at Hydro Wind Energy, driving cultural change and customer engagement through data-driven methodologies. Education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Newcastle University and a Diploma in Medical Studies from Durham University.
