Mr Akeil Samier

Akeil Samier is a highly experienced consultant robotic bariatric and UGI surgeon currently leading bariatric surgery at Darlington Memorial Hospital. They have served as a consultant bariatric surgeon at Spire Washington Hospital and within the NHS since 2011. Akeil completed their surgical training as a registrar and senior surgical fellow at various institutions including the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam and the Albert Schweitzer Teaching Hospital. They obtained their FRCS in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2011, further solidifying their expertise in the field.
