Nick McDonnell

Nick McDonnell serves as the Chief Information Officer at the National Health Service since May 2008, where responsibilities include strategically supporting West Suffolk NHS Trust through information and technology initiatives. Prior to this role, Nick was the Director of Health Informatics at the Royal Orthopaedic NHS Foundation Trust from February 2004 to May 2008, overseeing various aspects of information management and technology, including business intelligence, clinical coding, IT support, and project management. Nick holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Derby (1993-1996) and has degrees in Electronic and Computer Engineering (BEng) and Electronic and Electrical Engineering (NHC) from Birmingham City University (1985-1990 and 1976-1981, respectively).
