Peter Riou is a Consultant Emergency Physician at the NHS, appointed in 2002 at Derriford and has been with Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust since 2004. They completed post-graduate training in the SW Peninsula Deanery and have held significant roles in medical education, including Training Programme Director for Emergency Medicine and Head of School for the SW Peninsula School of Emergency Medicine. Currently, Peter is the Lead for Clinical Skills at the University of Exeter Medical School and has served as Club Physician for Exeter City Football Club since 2010. Peter earned a BA in Physiological Sciences from Oxford University between 1985 and 1988.
