Richard Simpson is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at NHS and a Non-Medical Independent Prescriber. They have been a qualified Registered Nurse since 1996, initially specializing in cardiology, and obtained an MSc in Advanced Practice from the University of Salford in 2017. They also hold a Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) in Critical Care from Keele University and became a nurse practitioner in 2002. In addition to their healthcare career, Richard is a guitarist and vocalist in the UK death metal band Austerymn, with their debut album "Sepulcrum Viventium" released worldwide.
