Ruth Pearce

Ruth Pearce serves as an Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham since August 2024 and holds the position of Head of the School of Nursing, Allied Health Professionals and Midwifery at NHS since August 2020. Previously, Ruth Pearce was the Director of Education and Student Experience and Associate Professor at The University of Nottingham from February 2016 to August 2020. Ruth Pearce also held the role of Senior Lecturer at the University of Worcester from November 2005 to February 2016 and began as a Lecturer at the University of Birmingham from December 1999 to November 2005. Ruth Pearce's experience includes working as a Sister in the ITU at University Hospital Birmingham from 1995 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Clinical Management and Education, a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Birmingham, as well as a Registered Nursing degree from St. James's University Hospital School of Nursing.
