Sam Hodgson is a GP and a Wellcome HARP PhD Fellow researching the genetics of common, chronic diseases in underrepresented populations. Currently, Sam is affiliated with Queen Mary University of London and serves as a GP within the NHS. Previously, Sam held the position of NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Primary Care at the University of Southampton and worked as an Academic Foundation Doctor at University Hospital Southampton NHS FT. Sam earned an MSc in Genomic Medicine with distinction from the University of Exeter and has completed degrees in medicine and medical sciences from Oxford University.
