Sarah Collier, PhD, is currently a Technical Programme Manager at the West Midlands Regional Genetics Laboratory and an Education Specialist for the Genomic Training Academy. They hold a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology, with research focused on the role of abnormally expressed Hu Proteins in neuroblastoma, glioblastoma, and small cell lung cancer. Previously, Sarah worked as a Senior Genetic Technologist and held multiple teaching roles at Coventry University, where they inspired students in various areas of medical biology. Additionally, they have served as a school governor and are a STEM ambassador. In 2018, Sarah was honored with a Coventry University Excellence Award for Research-Inspired Teaching.
