Shan Morgan

Shan Morgan is the Chair of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, a position held since April 2022. Previously, they served as the Permanent Secretary for the Welsh Government until October 2021, where they led a team of over 5,500 staff through significant challenges such as the Coronavirus pandemic and Brexit preparations. With a career spanning roles like UK Ambassador to Argentina and Deputy Permanent Representative to the UK Representation in Brussels, Shan has extensive experience in social and economic policy, stakeholder engagement, and talent management. They also hold a BA Hons in French Language & Literature from the University of Kent.
