Simon Hunter

Simon Hunter is a dedicated healthcare professional currently serving as a Primary Care Paramedic with West Mendip PCN and an Emergency Care Practitioner at the NHS. Simon began their paramedic career in 2008 after obtaining HCPC Paramedic Registration from Liverpool John Moores University and has since worked with South East Coast Ambulance Service and South Western Ambulance Service, where they achieved recognition for their involvement in critical incidents. Simon's commitment to community health led to a transition into Primary Care, focusing on patient reviews and home visits, and they also became a qualified Personal Trainer during the COVID pandemic. They are currently working towards a Master’s degree in Health Care at the University of Cumbria.
