Simon Whiteoak

Simon Whiteoak is a Gastroenterology Consultant with a clinical and research focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease. They began their medical career as a House Officer at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust from 2004 to 2005 and have since held various roles, including as a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Southampton from 2012 to 2015, investigating the role of microRNA in immune dysregulation related to IBD. Currently, Simon serves as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at NHS and University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, as well as the Director of Corfe View Medical since 2024. Simon earned their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and later a PhD on Inflammatory Bowel Disease from the University of Southampton.
