Sonya R.

Sonya R. is a consultant in psychiatry of intellectual disabilities and a NIHR doctoral research fellow. Currently, they serve as an honorary lecturer in the Centre for Psychiatry and Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London, while previously working as a medical doctor and consultant in intellectual disability psychiatry at NHS. Sonya completed their medical education with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King's College London and furthered their studies with an MSc in Mental Health Sciences Research from UCL. They also hold a PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Queen Mary University of London.
