Yassar Qureshi qualified from St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and completed Higher Surgical training with the London Deanery. Specializing in Oesophageal and Gastric cancer, Yassar served as a Consultant Surgeon at NHS since 2019 and currently chairs the regional Oesophago-Gastric Cancer MDT at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Yassar's research includes a Distinction-winning MSc thesis on pancreatic malignancy and an MD focused on Upper GI cancer survivorship. Additionally, Yassar maintains interests in global surgical training and non-medical pursuits such as mountaineering and ancient history.
