Toni Arcuri has extensive experience in leadership and management roles in the technology industry. Toni co-founded and served as the CTO of N(i)2 Inc., where they led and managed R&D projects based on new technologies. Toni also co-founded and served as CEO of Axone, where they set up and managed a team of software engineers to support and implement complex customer projects. Additionally, Toni served as the Corporate R&D Director and CEO/COO of MetaSolv Belgium S.A at MetaSolv Software (now Oracle), where they provided leadership and management for R&D IT projects based on J2EE technologies. Prior to that, they held the role of VP Technology Research & Development at Lat45 Inc, leading and managing research projects focused on new architecture platforms based on J2EE technologies. Toni also served as the Managing Director of Lat45 Europe, responsible for all new architecture missions and research projects. Earlier in their career, Toni was an R&D Manager at FICS & S1 Technologies (now ACI Worldwide), where they managed a team of engineers and computer specialists and served as the project leader and lead architect for the corporate banking platform. Toni also worked as a Software Consultant in the "Open Systems" department at Siemens, where they provided support and development for an object-oriented framework. Toni started their career as a Technology Consultant and Pre-Sales Manager at STAR-APIC, where they monitored projects, participated in GIS application development, and wrote operational requirements and technical documents. Toni began their professional journey as a WAN/LAN Network Manager/Administrator at Interpol, responsible for the installation and management of a large WAN - ISDN network. Toni's work experience is complemented by their research and software design roles during their time as a student and researcher at the Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne, where they focused on computer imaging and 3D rendering.
Toni Arcuri completed a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Universite de Namur, which took place from 1985 to 1991. Following this, Toni pursued further education in the field of Computer Engineering, specializing in 3D Imaging and rendering at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1991 to 1992.
