Tally Wright is currently a Research Group Leader in Crop Quantitative Genetics at NIAB in Cambridge, where they lead projects focused on quantitative genetics and data analysis in pre-breeding material, primarily wheat. Previously, they served as a postdoctoral researcher at NIAB and worked as a glasshouse research assistant. Tally was awarded a fully-funded BBSRC PhD studentship in Agriculture and Food Security from the University of Cambridge, which included an industry internship at KWS UK Ltd. They also hold a Master's degree in Plant Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from the University of Portsmouth.
