Jonathan Rizzi

Jonathan Rizzi has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Jonathan is currently a member of the working group at Green Data Lab since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a researcher at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research from 2017 to present. Jonathan was also a postdoc and lecturer at the University of Oslo from 2014 to 2017. Before that, they worked as GIS and environment personnel at Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia from 2007 to 2014, and as a GIS, ICT, and climate change professional at CMCC - Centro euro Mediterraneo per i Cambiamenti Climatici from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they have experience in ICT and environment at CVR - Venice Research Consortium from 2007 to 2013, and as a GIS tutor and teacher at IUAV from 2005 to 2008.

Jonathan Rizzi has a strong educational background in environmental science and geographical information systems. Jonathan obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Environmental Science from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Sciences at the same university from 2003 to 2008. Jonathan's academic journey started with a Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems, which they earned from Università Iuav di Venezia between 1999 and 2003.
