Tor-Einar Skog has a diverse work experience in software development and project management. Tor-Einar started their career at Den Norske Turistforening as a Web Developer, where they developed the organization's first dynamic web pages with hiking-related information. Tor-Einar then worked as a Software Developer for ebasis, where they were self-employed and provided consulting services to various clients such as Den Norske Turistforening, Hyperlinkto, and Bioforsk. During this time, they also taught Linux for researchers at the University of Ås, Norway. Later, they joined Hyper (Oslo) as a Senior Software Developer and Project Manager, where they worked for 8 years. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Software Developer at NIBIO since 2013.
Tor-Einar Skog has a diverse education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. Tor-Einar began their educational journey in 1990 at the University of Oslo (UiO), where they pursued a basic level degree in national economy. After completing this program in 1991, they moved on to the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB), where they were enrolled from 1995 to 1999. At UMB, Tor-Einar Skog obtained a Cand. agric degree in nature conservation and management. Following this, they attended Østfold University College (HiØ) from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an IT-kandidat degree in information technology.
