Cyber Security at NIC

Jeffrey Davis has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jeffrey started their career as a Command and Control specialist at Yokota AB in 1997, where they performed flight following and intelligence analysis. Jeffrey then worked as a C2 Command Post Journeyman at Travis AFB in 2000, where they set up mobile command posts and coordinated airlift and supply coordinates.

In 2001, Davis joined Volkel AB in The Netherlands as a Command and Control specialist, responsible for receiving and disseminating emergency action messages and relaying command and control directives. Jeffrey then worked at Northrop Grumman from 2007 to 2010, where they served as an Intel Systems Engineer, teaching ABCS courses and managing closed network domains.

From 2010 to 2013, Davis worked at CUBIC Applications as a Network Engineer, where they managed access and maintenance for the JOINT TRANING/EXERCISE NODE (JTEN) and designed and maintained the network topology.

In 2013, Davis joined Engility Corporation as a DCGS-A NETT Instructor, teaching multiple Army Mission Command Systems and applications. Jeffrey also served as a Cyber Security Principal and a Senior Network Engineer during their tenure.

Most recently, Davis has been working at NIC Inc. since 2017 as a Cyber Security professional.

Jeffrey Davis attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1997 to 2004, where they obtained an Associates Degree in Communications.
