Florian Vanneste

Florian Vanneste is a forensic expert specializing in material investigation at NICC/INCC, where they analyze paint and gunshot residue traces for law enforcement. They have served as the secretary and webmaster for the European Paint, Glass, and Taggants Expert Working Group from 2021 to 2025, facilitating the organization of annual meetings across Europe. Florian previously gained experience as a pharmaceutical consultant at QbD and held various positions in research and regulatory affairs. They hold a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, both awarded magna cum laude, from KU Leuven and Hogeschool Gent, respectively, and are currently pursuing a degree in watchmaking at KISP.
